‘Tommy: To Tell you the Truth’ is a one-hour observational documentary that follows comedian Tommy Tiernan as he takes to the road, travelling across eight European countries -Latvia, Sweden, Germany, Finland, Austria, Holland, France and Belgium on a whistle-stop European tour.  But this is no ordinary tour.  Each night when he steps on stage, Tommy is improvising from scratch. No preparation. No routine.  “I was very inspired by a line I heard when a writer was giving another writer advice and he said, ‘What you have to do is walk blindfolded off a cliff every day.“
