This film follows the Westmeath football team and manager Paidí O Sé over six months in 2004.  Westmeath had never won a provincial title before, however, with former Kerry manager and player Paidí O Sé as manager and the gradual improvement in the team’s success, the odds of an early exit were narrowing.  The cameras were rolling back stage as well as in front, from the announcement of Paidí as the new manager right up until Westmeath snared their first Leinster championship.  The film binds together a collection of stories and characters around the fortunes of the Westmeath football team in the year they created Gaelic history.
